Welcome to the twenty-fifth edition of the Short Science Podcast.

Join Emma and Elizabeth for all the very best science in brief!

We kick off the podcast with a few prominent science news headlines from the week including:

- plastics make baby boys more feminine

- cocaine not a great mixer with pepper spray

In this special edition of Short Science focussing on malaria, Emma takes us through the basic science of the disease in Capsule Science and Elizabeth focuses on the individual and global health impact in Capsule Medicine, along with prevention and treatment measures.

We look to ourselves this week and take the opportunity to get to know Emma a little bit better in our guest slot, finding out about her science background and aspirations.
