Monique talks about the Haiti earthquake and the main problems facing Haitians as they try to rebuild their country in the midst of a public health crisis.

Non-governmental organisation ARCHIVE director Peter Williams tells us a bit about their work, and Dr Catherine Noakes from the University of Leeds explains how architecture can be used to improve public health.

ARCHIVE launched an architecture competition to improve the lives of Haitians by developing house designs that focus on replicability, sustainability and contributing to the physical and psychological wellbeing of the inhabitants. We hear from seven of the entrants from around the world.
